    Thanks a bunch; that was insanely frustrating. I had been going 9850 (LAN) to 7750 (WAN) the entire time. Now it is working perfectly.

    Wow do I feel like a fool. Is a crossover cable required for this or will the systems adapt? EDIT: Actually I may be confused. On the 9850's LAN port, but what port of the 7750's? I assumed it's WAN port.
