    I am using Chrome and tried Opera/Firefox and they all seemed to open fine. By any chance, are you using https? For me, if I turn on https, it's slow as hell :( Http works just fine.

    Merlin, For 380-59-Beta-1, I see that the wireless version and date is in March (wl0: Mar 21 2016 15:22:48 version 6.37.14.126 (r561982), Quantenna Firmware: 37.4.0.56) for 87R and for some other routers, I see that it's in April. Any ideas or do I have the latest wireless driver? Thanks.

    After an hour, 2.4 GHz: 44°C - 5 GHz: 51°C - CPU: 76°C (no fan) TO 2.4 GHz: 38°C - 5 GHz: 38°C - CPU: 57°C (mini table fan effect) How can ASUS ever manufacture these things without an internal fan when they charge $150 - $250 for these mid to high end routers is just mind-boggling!

    Ok, my bad. I couldn't figure out who you are replying to as you didn't quote in your response. @RMerlin and all: When I change the "Web Interface - Authentication Method" to https, every page takes a while to load. Not sure why it behaves that way... Is it a known issue?

    Are you talking about https? I did not clear the browser cache but when you do a Ctrl-F5, it brings in the latest version from the server. But after few minutes, when I navigate to the same page, it again hangs for a while. What does rebooting my system have anything to do with the chrome...

    Flashed r29409 on my RT-AC87R and looks stable so far even though it's been only a day. Hopefully, it stays that way Port forwarding, MAC filtering, DDNS, and all the features that I use works... And, works very well indeed. Played with Merlin for a week or so since I purchased it last week...
