Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

Good call out, I can confirm that I have only attempted to use the ROG version for consistency.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

I shall give that a go then, just to see if anything crops up. That said, I'm having this same issue across three GT-AXE16000's. So frustrating, as I can't recall an issue with a merlin update across the many years I have been using it.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

No I haven't, but I have downloaded several times (all successfully) via several browsers across a broad spectrum of devices. The end result is always the same.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

Thank you for all the tips, many for novices..... I am slightly beyond that, but appreciated all the same. :) That been said, I still can't get this update to work at all. It just gets stuck the moment I start it, but the home's internet access works without issues whilst the process is...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

Glad yours did, so maybe means It's not specifically a model issue. I'm not sure what to do at this point. May just wait for the next update.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 is now available

Sadly for me this update doesn't want to play nicely with my router, namely GT-AXE16000 Upgrade from 388.6_2 rog to 388.7.0 rog All I'm greeted with is "Please Wait, Applying Settings" I left this run for a good 30-45min, having never come across such a strange issue when updating. All the...

    DNS Director

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but did you find an answer that worked for you in the end? I have the NextDNS CLI installed on my ASUS Merlin router, and would love to find a means to block people from changing a windows setting, or android private DNS setting etc just to get around the NextDNS...

    Release ASUS GT-AXE16000 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22525 (20/2/2023)

Hoping Merlin gets a build up soon for this update, as the Wifi 6E issues are a real PIA. Basically useless in its current state on this router.

    Slow Network Link speed (WiFi)

Hello everyone, I hope you will help me resolve this issue I have with my ASUS GT-AXE11000. I'm currently running Merlin's most stable release, and have for some time without issue. Though starting yesterday, the network speed reported by my various devices has dropped very low, and won't...

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Dead on reboot I may have just totally made it up! Sorry.

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Sorry I didn't, but I will. I have just had to factory reset this router again (axe) to get into here. Next time it goes down, I will go through your tests, but from what I can tell, the outside world fails to exist once this issue occurs. Logs are pretty much hopeless too, as from all I can...

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Ok to follow up on this: I have done the resets as mentioned, soft/hard/factory etc I have installed the latest Merlin OS and configured the router, but left off the NextDNS CLI. Within about 15mins of this all been completed, I ran into the exact same issue as before. So I'm led to believe...

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Well, the only way to get the router working again once this issue appears, is to do a factory reset from the routers GUI. I just haven't ever used the WPS button method, nor heard of it, to be honest, till now. So I would have done the factory reset AFTER flashing the MerlinFW, and after I...

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Thank you for your reply, Since this issue occurred so quickly, I have already completed a “factory reset” on this new router, but I have never used the “WPS method” before. I guess I missed an important step. I shall give this a go in the morning and report back with my findings, or...

    NextDNS CLI Reboot DoR issues

Hi all, I have recently purchased the GT-AXE11000, and immediately added the Merlin OS as that is what I have been using for years on my RT-AC88U. An issue I have come across is when either router on this OS reboots, I lose internet connection to my devices. Devices like Philips Hue hub lose...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

I have recently picked up a GT-AXE11000, and must say I am bored of the traditional UI on the other routers (I came from an RT-AC88U) I am not a huge fan of the ROG UI either. That said, I do prefer the dashboard on ROG UI.

spdMerlin spdMerlin - v4.x - speedtest and bandwidth monitoring

Hi all, Just came to install this on my RTAC88U but was met with the following: ------- No swap file detected! Entware not detected! Requirements for spdMerlin not met, please see above for the reason(s) ------- Im currently running with Merlin FW 386.2_6 but I do also have NextDNS CLi...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

Love to know this too, my WiFi has become a mess since this update. Going to flash back afew firmwares, if that's at all possible. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

I know WiFi probably hasn't been touched in the most recent 2 releases, but since installing them on my RTAC88U my 2.4GHZ WiFi has been crippled. I pay for 200Mbps and get over than on ethernet & 5ghz. On 2.4ghz since the most recent 2 releases, I get anything between 2-60Mbps plus it's VERY...
