    Thanks for saying that, it helped me making my decision. I've been thinking about upgrading for a while and this new Cyclops exploit just pushed me over the wall. With the AC68U I have just one small space with bad signal, but it turns out to be my favorite place in the house...:rolleyes:

    Oh, ok... So the risk is just that it won't inherit the old settings? I think I can do that. I know I took some pictures four years ago. I just need to find them under this pile of newspapers that accumulated... Why are they still printing these things?? o_O Thanks L&LD!!

    So, I just woke up from my 4 year nap and thought about updating my firmware (20E3). I was all excited that there was a brand new one just fresh from the oven. Then I found the "upgrade Matrix" file... AC68U (C1,E1), ASUS or Merlin 'E' Builds...

    Yes, I mentioned that as an alternative on my first post. But instead of Alt+PntScr, Ctrl+V, F12 and type file name. I just pressed one button on my remote control gizmo. That's eight clicks for each screenshot vs one. ;)

    Man, the jump from 06 to 20E was flawless on my AC68U. It picked all my settings and the new stuff seem to have good default values. I'm feeling spoiled. Thanks John, this is awesome! Just a heads up if you take photos of the tabs like I did. Maybe because of the monitor refresh, the grey...

    First of all, thanks for making me company with a two year old version. Mine is the 06. Second, I'm not sure this is what you mean but there is a tab for you to back up your settings under Administration. Third, if you're afraid the back up won't work for whatever reason you can take screen...
