    After upgrading to latest 386.5_2 version, my RT-AC68U does not detect any 5Ghz signal on Wireless > Site Survey....only 2.4Ghz When i go back to previous version i get both 5Gz as well as 2.4Ghz.....is there a fix for this?

    my devices are all ipads & iphones with latest iOS versions installed, so that should rule out device driver issue... I am aware of distance limitations of 5Ghz range, but i cannot get any signal improvement over 2.4Ghz even in the same room as my router!!

    5Ghz on my Rt-AC68U is worse than 2.4Ghz and what ever i done has not improved it...(no complaints with 2.4Ghz) Was running latest stock firmware up to now with no luck, so i switched over to Merlin 386.3.2 but still no joy!     Hi I have two internet connections, one has higher bandwidth than the other abut the latency on the second connection is better.. Is it possible to configure RT-AC68U so that a specific device (ipad) can use the second connection which has better latency, so i can play games on it.

    RT-AC68U 5Ghz transfer speed lower than 2.4Ghz..

    Just realized 5Ghz transfer speed is lower than 2.4Ghz on my RT-AC68U.. Tried playing around with the antenna positions to see if it changes but it doesn't. Previously 5Ghz used to be about 3 times faster than 2.4Ghz...any ideas why this might be? Router running latest stock firmware...
