VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

They can't port it right now even if my # is with CC. VoIP.MS must "buy" the "rate center" in order to port numbers from it.

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

VoIP.MS was my first choice... but they weren't able to port my existing number, while CC were. CC suggested me GrandStream or Obi ATA. I might go with this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B007EYY3XU/?tag=smallncom-20 What do you guys think ?!?! As soon as VoIP.MS can port my number, I'll go...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

Were you with Callcentric all those years ? FYI, I tried Tomato Shibby on my N66u... same result. Even Callcentric suggested me a GrandStream ATA over my Cisco SPA112. Other people have the same setup as us. But they're using VoIP.ms rather than Callcentric and everything is fine. Is it a...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

**** update***** I had a TP-LINK archer c1200 laying around (stock config) Without changing anything (except QoS) I switched my RT-N66u with this one. I performed many tests (inbound, outbound, from a landline, from a VoIP softphone. Everything was going well until my mom (yes, my mom)...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

No luck with the "NAT redirect keep alive settings". It dropped at the 15min marks. By doing my research on this forum and elsewhere, everyone was pointing at the SIP Passthrough settings and the ports 5060/5080 being blocked by the those settings. Does this ring a bell to you ? And how about...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

JDB: here are the screenshots of the SIP pages RMerlin: I already did have a look at the voip.ms SPA112 pages and there is nothing unusual with CallCentric settings. tbh I would have chosen voip.ms over CallCentric but they weren't able to port my phone # :( ***************************** I...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

It drops. As I said, the problem is intermittent but when it happens CallCentric tells me that I don't acknowledge a reINVITE packet. JDB: the softphone idea is a good one. Until I try that, if you or other members have any idea on how to solve this issue, I will try anything. This is...

VoIP issue with Asus RT-N66U router and CallCentric

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I've already read a lot of issues similar to mine on SNB. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve it. Here's a quick summary. Router: Asus RT-N66u running AsusWRT Merlin v. 380.66_4 ATA: Cisco SPA112 (with latest firmware) ISP: Teksavvy VoIP provider...
