    In your VPN configure file before <ca> line, it usually has "ovpn" as file type if you export from router configure page.

    Thank you Eric, it did ran in Router mode, I'm wrong; sorry for the confusing. And SWAP file was configured for router only, no other customization. And preinit fail seems triggered by /dev/mtdblock3, I have one UFD for SWAP use and USB fan for cooling it down, is that related?

    This is the strange part I'm wondering, because I only use AP mode and configured a OpenVPN server, others all disabled.

    Just found out RT-AC66U with OpenVPN server configured, if client connected and downloading files via this connection, CPU loading will keep very high (over 90%). This might be as design, right?

    What do you mean by "Gigabit ethernet not functioning correctly"? Have you tried reset your AP and try again? Is there any error message or system log can be reference?
