    Asus GT-AC5300 Repeater

When I set my GT-AC5300 to repeater mode the LAN ports work good but no wireless clients can obtain an IP. They connect to the Wireless but then say "No Internet Connection". It worked for a little bit the other day and now nothing works but the LAN. The only thing that does work is my SMART TV...

    AiMesh for Tri-band routers: RT-AC5300, GT-AC5300

There is interference with wireless also which can slow down speeds. Same with distance. I pull around 100MB/sec wired. Wireless gets around half for me as well and I have an 80TB FreeNAS setup. I also have 2 NVMe drives in there also which bench at 3450 mbps read/write as another partition...

I just did that and all the 5G devices seem to be on 5Ghz-2 solely now. Which is very good as a matter of fact :)

Ok I think I fixed it now. I set the 2 Samsung Smart Tvs and Note 8 on the 2.4Ghz Mac Deny list and now all 3 connected to 5Ghz-2. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Rebooted again and now Note 8 is on 5Ghz-1 and TV on 2.4G again.. I'm not liking this feature to much. To buggy. Both devices are in same room too! The Note 8 is showing 1080 mbps though lol

Heh I set it up for 5Ghz-2 accept and then rebooted router. It connected to 5Ghz-1 at 866.7 Mbps LOL. Wonder why it didn't even goto the 5Ghz-2.

I have found SmartConnect to be garbage after some testing. My Note 8 connects to the 5Ghz-2 correctly but for some reason my Samsung Curved 4K TV which is in the same room as phone is only connecting to 2.4G 144Mbps. I had it on 5Ghz-2 before at 867Mbps. What gives?
