Well I was able to enter into CFE and flash the firmware. I'm getting set up now so hopefully I won't run into any more issues.

    Router Borked - Help Needed

After many many successful firmware updates on my RT-AC68U I've ran into my first major problem. After updating to 386.3 I was given a prompt on my browser to manually reboot the router and so I did. This was strange to me as it's the first time I've ever seen such a thing. Now the router keeps...

    IPv6 Causing WiFi Dropouts

An interesting update to my find. I was looking back at some Android forum posts to try and find when this all began for me as I thought it was related to my phone's software... It began right when 384.5 was released (2018-05-13) and coincidentally is when I updated to Android Oreo. So I'm not...

    IPv6 Causing WiFi Dropouts

What/How would enabling IPv6 cause WiFi dropouts? My phone has been dropping WiFi off an on randomly for many months. It disconnects then connects very quickly, typically ~1 second. I was downloading a file once and it kept doing this over and over and over to where there was no data...

Last two firmware updates don't work with Comcast

I had that problem with previous updates. Did you factory default the settings and set up from scratch? That's what fixed it for me. When in doubt always factory default and set up from scratch.

How safe it is to open admin access from WAN ?

Is it possible to use the GUI? Format JFFS partition after reboot, then reboot, reflash the firmware, then restore factory default? I'm going to assume not to restore settings and just setup from scratch?

How safe it is to open admin access from WAN ?

I unknowingly had "Enable Web Access from WAN" set to yes a few months back. I logged into my router at some point and noticed there were some settings changed. I believed the SSID's were changed and my Dynamic DNS host name was changed. That "yes" quickly became a "no" once I saw that...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

The only potential thing that might be wrong is that you didn't hold WPS long enough. You should power off for ~5 seconds, hold WPS and power on while holding WPS for ~25 seconds (until the power led begins to blink) then release. Did you have to assign a new login/password other than...

Your ISP's DHCP does not function correctly

I had this problem when upgrading from 380.68_4 to 380.69 on 2 different 68u's. I did a factory reset and set both of them up from scratch and they connect pretty much instantly and I've yet to get this message.
