    Selective Routing for Netflix

I'm not interested in illegal activities but I am interested in keeping my privacy private. Using a VPN service is part of that, but due to the fact that Netflix adheres to a very rigorous VPN blocking policy, in order to be able to use a VPN, I need a method of circumventing Netflix streaming...

    Selective Routing for Netflix

Correct, every ISP uses his own Netflix Open Connect appliances. Of course some ISP's are just fronts for other ISP's, like the Dutch company Telfort is just a front for the Dutch ISP KPN, thus Telfort uses the Netflix appliances of KPN. Once the ip addresses of these ISP streaming appliances...

AB-Solution - The Ad Blocking Solution

Same question here. I'm using the openvpn client, installed ab-solution, but it seems not many ads get blocked (for instance googleads are not blocked).

    Selective Routing for Netflix

That last one didn't do the trick either, but I found out where the culprit lies. It lies in the Netflix Open Connect network; https://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/06/22/boffins_map_netflixs_open_connect_cdn/ https://arxiv.org/abs/1606.05519v3 https://arxiv.org/pdf/1606.05519v3.pdf...

    Selective Routing for Netflix

I have posted a connection log while watching netflix on my laptop (post #101), so yes I can watch netflix when I turn off the VPN. I do not block routed clients if tunnel goes down. Regarding my geo location, checking netflix ip addresses on https://www.peeringdb.com/asn/2906 I see for...

    Selective Routing for Netflix

I used version 3.3 of your script. I guess my geo location is the root of my problem. Will try your suggestions later, I'm on my way to work right now.

    Selective Routing for Netflix

Don't know if it's of any help, but I've attached a connection log while watching netflix on my laptop (192.168.1.205).

    Selective Routing for Netflix

Removed policy rule 192.168.1.0/24, added my laptop, saved in webgui, rerun script, netflix still blocks the traffic on using a proxy/unblocker. Attached some logs.

    Selective Routing for Netflix

AMAZONAWS is being populated too, 723 entries  I am not on stock, I'm on Merlin (latest version). Only added skynet and entware. All lan devices have static ip's. In openvpn client I have enabled policy rules and created policies for my router and two NAS's to bypass the VPN tunnel (ip to...

    Selective Routing for Netflix

Xentrk, thanks for the script and your good work. However, Netflix still blocks my traffic. Diagnostics results are as follows: admin@RT-AC5300:/tmp/home/root# iptables -nvL PREROUTING -t mangle --line Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT 146K packets, 74M bytes) num pkts bytes target prot...
