I reviewed the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63

Hello! I have tested the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63 very recently and I wanted to make a blog post on my website, but since the main search engine is, well, in its sewage stage, I decided it's better to share it with you here (I am not a fan of Reddit). Hope it helps anyone that's interested in this...

[Review] ASUS GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U Pro vs RT-AX86U Pro

I mean there is a way to kind of have similar results as long as the client signal attenuation is similar from site to site and no funny apps are ran in the background. Also, the clients and the server need to be the same...

[Review] ASUS GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U Pro vs RT-AX86U Pro

It's in the works, but it will take some time due to the nature of the beast.

[Review] ASUS GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U Pro vs RT-AX86U Pro

Yes, JakeJ is Sam from Luumina.com. It's a sort of blog for people that don't want to listen to me mumble on YouTube. And downstream is indeed upload for the client.

[Review] ASUS GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U Pro vs RT-AX86U Pro

No, I tested the GT-AX6000 a couple of months ago. I will check it out and if there have been some major changes, I will re-test it.

[Review] ASUS GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U Pro vs RT-AX86U Pro

After I tested tested each of the three routers, I decided to make a dedicated video to find out which one of them is the better WiFi 6 router. I look forward to any questions and feedback.

    Problems with Asus RT-AX58U

It is. The solution seems to be to get another AX router from another brand, test and see if the issue persists (which will mean that it's the AX implementation), otherwise, I need a new computer.

    Problems with Asus RT-AX58U

The laptop's adapter is not AX, it's a 802.11ac Intel, but yes, no problems with it. I also suspect the motherboard to a certain degree, since it's also old, but I did try the same test on a somewhat newer system (both systems had only PCIE 2.0 available) and I got the same results. I'm trying...

    Problems with Asus RT-AX58U

I'm not sure since it happened with three different adapters: TP-Link AX3000, Asus PCE-AC88 and Asus PCE-AC68. I got the best results with TP-Link, but still some weird fluctuations.

    Problems with Asus RT-AX58U

OK, the bandwidth for a PCI Express slot is 2.5Gbps on a single direction, so this can't be the problem, right? My motherboard is not really that new (it's a close to 9 years old Asrock Fatal1ty P67), but I'm starting to think that the problem may actually be the router (although the fact that...

    Problems with Asus RT-AX58U

Hi. I bought the Asus RT-AX58U about a week ago and wanted to see the average throughput that I could get using a TP-Link AX3000 pcie wifi adapter. The download speed fluctuates a lot and while it does go to about 900Mbps for a few seconds, most of the time sits at under 100Mbps, which is...

    AiMesh doesn't work

I'm not sure that's necessarily the case because I know that Grisu has the same routers as me and tested them with the latest firmware and he reseted and initialized both, and for him, it worked. There have to be some additional factors and I'm certain that people that have the same problem as...

    AiMesh doesn't work

I know and I'm equally confused. I kept the latest firmware on the RT-AC86U and updated the RT-AC68U after the pairing was done and everything works fine so far.

    AiMesh doesn't work

That worked! I can't believe it, but the older firmware on the RT-AC68U allowed me to connect to the RT-AC86U. Now let's see how does the AiMesh behave in my home environment. Thank you and the other users (Grisu, OzarkEdge, grueber, InfiniteLoop) very much for your help!

    AiMesh doesn't work

Well, what I'm trying to do is test this specific scenario and write an analysis about it, so two RT-AC86U would defeat the purpose (most people will try AiMesh on the RT-AC68U and RT-AC86U).

    AiMesh doesn't work

I did update to the latest firmware (the 20942) and still nothing. I'm thinking that maybe they're set on different regions, so is there any way to check and change it?

    AiMesh doesn't work

I am still unable to set up AiMesh on the RT-AC86U and the RT-AC68U. What I tried so far: changing the channels and initialize, disabling Airtime Fairness and both types of Beamforming and initialize, set up the AC68U as the router and the RT-AC86U as the node, updated the new firmware on the...

    AiMesh doesn't work

Both routers are on the latest 3.0.0.4.384_20648 firmware, but even if I wanted to downgrade the AC68U, I can't because ASUS has only the latest update available on the official website. I will try it with the AC86U and see if it will connect.

    AiMesh doesn't work

Hi, I have two Asus routers, the RT-AC86U set as the main mesh router and the RT-AC68U which I am trying to set as the mesh node, but, so far I have been unsuccessful. I tried resetting both routers to factory settings, changed IPs, nothing worked. It does seem that the AC86U sees the RT-AC68U...
