    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.61SF

Not specific to this fw ver but I noticed after .60 I want to say. About once a day I have the following on my firewall with the R7800 as the source. It is in AP mode fwiw so it's indeed that doing since nothing uses it as a GW and the source IP is it. I guess I could try to setup packet capture...

    DNSCrypt-Proxy version 2 and STUBBY add-ons for R7800/R9000

Thanks for the newer ver. Seems to not fix it sadly :( It is definitely an IPv6 issue, I tried all the providers and fail yet all v4 work. The only thing in the log is it fails to communicate with them/time out. So I did some more testing. While telnet on router I can NOT ping ipv6 address...

R7800 Custom QoS Levels or manually set bandwidth limit for client?

QoS on these are just priority. Has nothing to do with how much BW can be used, nor could netgear ever control that per device. If you set the one device low and all others high the others should be able to pull BW back from the low one as needed. What you're asking otherwise you might need to...

Kamoj Kamoj debug-page add-on for Netgear R7800 X4S running Voxel Firmware

Just wanted to add that I think this is awesome add-on. On your second version when you release would you mind making it compatible for DNSCrypt 2 also? Voxel just released the module for it and I'm running and yours seems to only work for v1 which IMO should go away since it was discontinued.

    DNSCrypt-Proxy version 2 and STUBBY add-ons for R7800/R9000

So few more findings. For starts I decided to factory reset router since I'd been through a few upgrades on your firmware anyway and like to start clean. Doing so I learned that doesn't undo stuff like this. For example the config had remained intact, the add-on etc. same for the debug one...

    DNSCrypt-Proxy version 2 and STUBBY add-ons for R7800/R9000

OMG thanks for this, been wanting forever! Hopefully you can update to 2.0.16 soon as .14 had some issues :) So got an odd issue I got following your guide. It works for a few minutes and stop after that. It's using the correct DNS provider and dns leak test shows that however few minutes...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.54SF

I think as an add-on is acceptable. I'm just worried messing with it now given you have one integrated somewhat and not sure how/what all ties into it where and don't have the time to play with it too much. The new ones adds a ton of different stuff and a lot of the providers are switching how...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.54SF

How would one go about installing the dnscrypt2? I see it in the other repo but since dnscrypt already exist in your base fw wasn't sure if it would cause issues. Also wanted to try the newer version and the repo one is behind :( Thanks!

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.54SF

yea i saw that but didn't want to bump old thread. That was from April. It's had one release in June and one in July now. I've run it locally on machines also and not had any stability issues. I think his concern was with how frequent they released updates but I don't know that's a bad thing...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.54SF

Hi, Would it be possible to update DNSCrypt to the latest one? The one you are using is EOL and not maintained. The most current one is located at: https://dnscrypt.info/ with the source info at https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy I got onto my router running your latest fw and tried...
