    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

Your firmware also incorporates it, or do I need to use theirs first?

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

Where do I obtain a newer bootloader? I thought it would be integrated into the firmware?

Thanks. Using 384.10, the CFE is 3.0.0.0

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

    How do I check this?

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

Well something doesn't make sense, as I have tried newer firmware versions aside from the 384.10 that everything works fine with, and the speeds on wired and wireless devices are substantially slower with anything after 384.10 for me. Perhaps it's a default setting on the router that has changed...

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

Damn it, looks like I am sticking with 384.10. I put in the same settings manually and everything works perfect.

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

Is there some kind of log file I should provide or something else I should be looking for? I might as well not have my phone on Wi-Fi at this point as cellular is faster.

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

All changes were put in manually. Yes, SSID's for example are Home 2.4 and Home 5 for 2.4ghz and 5ghz

    RT-AC88U slow speeds with 384.14

After flashing to the latest build and doing a factory reset, I noticed the speeds on wired and wireless were significantly slower. Wireless, when on the 5 GHz band and about 15 feet away, I am only getting speeds around 30 Mbps and wired, in the 350 Mbps range. (testing from two different...

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

1.4 gbps internet connection? That speed test site is crap, lol. You can't really do more than ~960 Mbps unless the hardware is multi-gig. Also, you will want to hide your IP address in that screenshot.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

Disregard, I moved 5 feet further from the router and wifi speeds are back to normal. Everything is good now on the previous firmware (at least for my needs). Thank you everyone for your help! That's what I get for messing with things on a Sunday.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

Well the only thing that appears to be affected now is the speed test on my iPhone, which is getting 50 down and 500 up. Not sure if something else might have changed with doing the factory defaults, such as MIMO, Beamforming, etc... any suggestions?

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

In 10_0 it just shows as enabled.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

Yes I did. Also, not sure why you said "That is not enough hardware for a 1Gbps up/down ISP connection with features such as AiProtection enabled." All the AiProtection features are enabled and I'm getting 926/944 on the prior firmware.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

Something is definitely up with firmware version 384.10_2. I just flashed my router back to 384.10 and speeds are back to normal. https://www.speedtest.net/result/8171094873

Going to do that right now as I exhausted all other options at this point.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

How does it make sense?! As mentioned, my speeds were fine before the latest firmware update with the same settings and features enabled. In addition, now that my manual settings are back to where they were since a factory reset, the speeds improved from where they were after doing a basic setup.

Slower internet since firmware update 384.10_2

The router does have a public ip address. Also, now my iphone, which is connected to the 5 Ghz band, which normally will see speeds around 500/500 is getting 53.6 / 511.
