    Well yeah, you are right. It’s just more disappointing. My Netgear that was half the cost and still ran like a champ. Either way it’s a bummer. I’m trying the recovery mode and so far it’s failing so who knows. Guess I’ll be returning this to Best Buy and getting a replacement.

    Is this a bug or something I just need to get used to? It refreshes constantly and its annoying as I am trying to label 30+ devices and they just disappear. It only makes matters worse that on the second RT I have in AP mode, it happens there too. Very hard to get things done like this.

    No not yet, I wanted to try Aimesh for the heck of it before I start flashing the devices. I just got it done a bit ago. I don't like how the APs share a channel between the SSIDs. So I may just take the other device and make it an AP and just call it a day. I may try Merlin over the weekend...

    I disabled the radio for 5 Ghz1 and it didn't make a difference on the channels. I am curious why that extender supported it but not some of these higher end routers.
