    Accessing static IP

    He is trying to access a folder on his desktop at home and would like to eventually access a lan camera. I think he came to the wrong guy for help as neither of us are familiar with port forwarding etc. We'd be glad for a tutorial on the subject. If you need more specifics just let me know...

    Accessing static IP

    A co-worker has a static IP address at his home. When we try to access his address from a remote location we are asked for a user name and password, we've used the info he uses to access his email etc. but no joy. What should we be using? maybe the router info? thanks

    Will it work to connect a DSL modem to a switch/hub and then to two seperate routers?
