    Slow VPN ?

    Keep in mind that anything that goes through the VPN has to be uploaded through the server. 30 Mbps is your upload speed of the VPN server so that is your limiting factor. Using a VPN, you can never get faster than your servers upload speed.

    Good idea. By current baseline do you mean Administration -> Restore/Save/Upload Setting and "Save setting" and "Backup JFFS partition"?

    Could I ask what benefits you saw? Besides what's listed on the release note. I just installed 3004.388.4 from the Asus firmware and have it configured just the way I like. I would hate to factory reset and start over again just yet.

    Another quick question. I want to install Merlin on the AX88U Pro and wanted to know if AiMesh will work with Merlin. Quick search shows it won't. My other (current) router is RT-AC1900P and will also be updated with Merlin.

    That is what I am doing now - running Wireguard and HDHomerun on the RPi. I wouldn't mind shutting down the RPi and running Wireguard and HDHomerun on the router if there isn't a performance hit.
