    Diversion Diversion 5.4.3 - the Router Ad-Blocker, February 03, 2025

I updated this morning and it was unusually slow, so maybe there was an issue with the server. Definitely worth trying again.

Entware Entware updates have appeared !!!

It may be specific to your router/setup. I just updated (on my RT-AX86U Pro) and the Diversion web UI is fine.

Not Another One! But yes, AX or BE Question

I'm running an RT-AX86U Pro (running Merlin 3004.388.8_4) with a single RT-AC86U (Merlin 3004.386.14_2) as a wired AIMesh node, and for my needs (which are, like yours, relatively simple), it's worked beautifully from the get-go. Big house, all double brick internal walls, with one at each end...

Thanks for that. That gets there:-)

    [ 386.14_1 Build(s) ] available build(s)

Hmmm, leads to an empty folder for me. Has this been removed?

Looking for feedback: Anyone considering AiCloud important to them?

I've never used it and never will, but if others do then I can't see much reason to remove it. If you don't enable it, it's not a security risk, is it? Perhaps an alert to the risks (similar to the popup for WAN access) would be enough?

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

Big thanks to @thelonleycoder. Above and beyond, as usual.

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

Gone haywire again for me today, dynamic time on/off showing as 0:00 and 0:00. Anyone else? EDIT: Getting the same results regardless of city code, trying both ASXX0112 (Sydney) and ASXX0274 (North Sydney).

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

Still working here as well, with ASXX0786 as the location.

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

Working here with ASXX0786, although it also worked when I re-enabled it yesterday before the changes were made.

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

All working fine for me now, too! I guess it was a glitch with weather.com, as I originally suspected:-)

amtm amtm LED Control Dynamic Time Update Issue?

The good news is that @thelonelycoder is aware of the problem and will deal with it when he's back on deck. The better news is you can switch to static times in the meantime:-)

    LED control and amtm 4.9

    Thank you:-)

    LED control and amtm 4.9

Yes, this is exactly the same situation for me. I should have spelled that out. Sunset times are correct, but sunrise times are not.

    LED control and amtm 4.9

Yeah, I did see the release notes and wondered if it could be related. But again, I initially thought it must have been an issue on weather.com's end. I have removed and reinstalled the script and it didn't solve the issue.

    LED control and amtm 4.9

Thanks for chiming in, pinkgrae. That's really good to know. At first I thought it must be a one-off, with the information pulled from weather.com being wrong. But I wonder if the script is changing the information in some way.

    LED control and amtm 4.9

I'm having issues running the LED control script on my RT-AX86U Pro, which began after I updated amt to 4.9. I use the dynamic scheduler for sunrise and sunset, which had been working perfectly. Now, every time it updates the scheduler from weather.com (Tuesdays and Saturdays), it sets the wrong...

amtm amtm 4.9 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, June 30, 2024 (locked thread)

I thought the automated LED scheduler had gone haywire after updating to 4.9 when I woke up (well before sunrise, unfortunately) and my router's LEDs were on, but going into the settings and checking the scheduler for my city (Sydney, ASXX0112), it appears the schedule is out by three hours...

    Diversion Diversion 5.1.3 - the Router Ad-Blocker, May 09, 2024

Can you give some URL examples? I'm also running Sonoma 14.5 and would be happy to check.

    Diversion Diversion 5.1.3 - the Router Ad-Blocker, May 09, 2024

Did you update the blocking list after you added the above domain to your allow list? Diversion will prompt you to do so, but you might have missed it. If you did, go into the blocking list (b) and update it (bu). You can also do it through the router GUI: the LAN/Diversion tab, then Update...
