    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.23SF-HW

Quick question since search is failing me. Did factory resetting ever get resolved? I would like to flash the firmware then factory reset and send to a family member so they can set it up like they desire but not with the Netgear firmware on it. Know Voxel was busy with family/life/situation...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.17SF-HW

So, I have again gone through the main threads over @Netgear, at this point, either some settings, or some chipsets just DONT seem to play well with Apple's Drivers/WiFi Modules, that's about the only conclusion I can come up with considering some Apple users report a problem, and some don't...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.17SF-HW

I made a post about it in a prior release thread, the netgear instructions didnt work proper (small quirk), Will try to find it later to add to a nice little "what to know" EDIT: here it is, rather long read, the only important part is at the top section Custom firmware build for Orbi...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.17SF-HW

I suggest you fully read a comment before replying to it. Case in point my post specifically says: "It would be nice if he would put this in the quickstart" The "this" point being that if you FACTORY RESET (rolling back firmware to stock is a totally different thing) the router while running...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.17SF-HW

Sadly, as myself and others have noted on the past several release's and possibly more (considering I was new to this just a short time ago), a FACTORY RESET WILL (soft)BRICK your ROUTER. It would be nice if he would put this in the quickstart, and EVERY RELEASE post so new people like...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.13.1SF-HW

I have not factory reset this version or last one, prior, it was causing the unit to soft brick, required TFTP to stock

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.13.1SF-HW

No IoT devices here, issue's galore with single SSID, ZERO with it separate, nothing truly old either (laptop was 2018, current is 2019, phone is 2018). Only 2.4Ghz ONLY item was my Epson 7710 printer (2018). Updated drivers and all, I do IT for a living, and not call the MFG for support first...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.12.1SF-HW

Have not had these myself, but family member did and it was a device on the network causing the issue, never found out why, IE bad packets, collisions, etc, and no, it shouldn't cause the router to shirt itself, but they had the same issue with a prior linksys router, but not with a dlink (go...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.11SF-HW

Yes sorry, I did the disable wifison, I will change to allowdiff (also, been running with separate SSID's since launch, ZERO issues there) By GUI change, i meant different options or listings, I do see the different icons and firmware versions Still doesn't address the fact it keels over on...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.11SF-HW

If you meant to reply to my posts then you did not actually read them... I saw this comment in a prior firmware thread you made So if you read item 4, it clearly says I updated to latest stock 2.5.1.8 BEFORE I updated to yours...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.11SF-HW

Who was I kidding, 10min laying there trying to sleep and it was just NOT going to happen! So, found some things... TFTP is a PITA to get done! none of the BS I could find on the forums or site helped! Orbi TFTP Process (to get the Orbi to take the TFTP... the rest is the same): With reset...

    Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.1.11SF-HW

Not in a good place right now. Sitrep: Was stuck on 2.3.x (the last version, dont recall off hand) due to Netgears fcking with the different 2.4Ghz SSID I had set (and many users reported where "fixed" in 2.5.x, aka, no longer working) Saw this marvel mentioned in the Netgear forums, and have...
