Force LAN port 4 to use the Guest network for Asus/merlin RT-AC68U

FWIW, this is the script i'd like to load at startup. I used Winscp to copy the file to /jffs/scripts although haven't figured out how to instruct router to run script each time router boots up? This is all new for me so apologies for being of the start of the learning curve. #!/bin/sh #...

Force LAN port 4 to use the Guest network for Asus/merlin RT-AC68U

@drinkingbird - AC66U is on jonh9527 Asus-Merlin 374 LTS fork and may be nearing the EOL in terms of firmware support but since it still works I'm resisting the temption to upgrade. As I'm new to using Putty to send cmd, can you advise what steps I use to add commands to a startup script? I...

Force LAN port 4 to use the Guest network for Asus/merlin RT-AC68U

Big Thank You to everyone from this old thread, especially hardtotell. On my AC66u, I was able to create private and guest vlan which work exactly as intended. Is there anyway for this to survive a router reboot or do you need to do anything to save the settings after you issue cmds in Putty?

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Finally found time to glue gun the failed power button and really appreciate this firmware. As I admit to being new to this, I noticed the last Asus firmware was 382.51641 (11/2019) and latest Merlin is 384.x and John's fork is 374.x. Not that a build number is important but just...

    Kr00k protection for ASUS routers?

Just enabled PMF on 68u and 2 year old Android phone seems to be able to connect to WiFi normally but I'll have to test a few more devices. If a router is configured as AIMesh node does it have to also have PMF enabled or just the parent router?

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Is there an idiots guide for installing this firmware on an AC66U? I downloaded the latest zip file which is like 800GB but I don't see a .trx file? Also, any chance this has AIMesh support? TIA
