Two GT-AX11000 wired backhaul, can I use the 5GHz-2 on the node?

Yes, that seems to work....thank you! It is however forcing me to use a different SSID for the backhaul network which was something I was trying to avoid. I like the simplicity of having the same SSID and AiMesh where it disconnects devices that get too far so they connect to the closer node...

NAT Acceleration on GT-AX11000 for Wi-Fi calling

When I had my RT-AC5300 as a router with some mesh nodes I had to disable NAT acceleration on LAN switch settings in order to make Wi-Fi calling work when roaming between nodes (used to drop calls a lot if I was walking and talking in the house). Now I upgraded to an GT-AX11000 and can't find...

Two GT-AX11000 wired backhaul, can I use the 5GHz-2 on the node?

I just set up two GT-AX11000 in a mesh using wired backhaul. I also have a third wireless node, so that means that the 5GHz-2 band on the router is hidden which makes sense. However, on the node GT-AX11000 I would like to use its second band for general purpose wi-fi, however it appears but it...

    Multiple Tri-Band Routers Setup Question

I understand that I may be overprovisioned here, the main question I had was if I had 2 GT-AX11000 and 1 RT-AC5300 and only one of them can be wired and the other wireless then which one should I use. I'm happy to retire everything else and sell them :). I am using the Helge Keck analyzing tool...

    Multiple Tri-Band Routers Setup Question

Will do. So you'd rather have the second GT-AX11000 wired to enable its two bands, and keep the RT-AC5300 in place which will continue to have more wireless devices connected to it (assuming that the large range of the GT-AX11000 won't draw more devices to it). BTW, I assume that I can't use the...

    Multiple Tri-Band Routers Setup Question

Which is why I'm considering retiring some of them (at least the RT-AC68U). So, if I get the second the GT-AX11000, any thoughts if I should hook it up wired or wirelessly?

    Multiple Tri-Band Routers Setup Question

I'm a big fan of Asus and own a lot of their routers. Here's my current setup GT-AX11000 router (tri-band). 5Ghz-2 is hidden used as backhaul RT-AC88AC AiMesh node wired connected RT-AC88AC AiMesh node wired connected RT-AC5300 AiMesh node wirelessly connected on the 5Ghz-2 band RT-AC68U AiMesh...

    New GT-AX11000 firmware 3.0.0.4.384_9165

After upgrade, what I see is that in bandwidth dials on the Traffic Analyzer / Bandwidth Monitor no longer show the numbers. Seems that now we have a few dropdowns to allow the dials to scale, but I'm not seeing the numbers
