    This happened on me RT-AC68U running 384.17_0. WEB and SSH all not accessible though internet/wifi works fine. Had to power cycle it.

    can't login/ssh to router

    I've rebooted and it's come back. I have about 40 devices but most of them are wifi bulbs/plugs. How do I check for things that could leads to the router run out of memory? This is the only time I notice this happened in recently a few months.

    Could you explain more details specifically what kind of risks? I only use app rarely when at home since I don't expose webui to external. And most of time I am using webui, just for this blocking feature I found it is so convenient in app but yet to find an easy way in webui. Thanks.

    ah, didn't know I can change hostname there. I knew the dhcp static ip and /jffs/config/dnsmasq.conf.add in main router but seems those are not available on AP. Where are those hostnames saved? Is there a way to change it via command line? Thanks

    No not using any backup config, since there is no need to config node at all. I am hesitate to do anything on my main router as this time since internet access is crucial for the whole family :p

    Thanks! I may try your suggestion. Is this the stock firmware? https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC68U/HelpDesk_BIOS/ I can update it over web ui, right? Switch between Merlin and stock should be safe? or need some special steps?
