AX88U surfshark active but not working

^ All of that. I skipped past this post when I saw it earlier because there's no way to help you OP if you don't give us _anything_ to work with.

Looking for feedback: Anyone considering AiCloud important to them?

@RMerlin you know it's going to be a PITA either way. You remove it, there'll be constant questions from people who don't read the README's asking where it is. If it's left and there are more security issues, then people will be questioning why it was left when it was obviously an attack vector...

Never used it, never planning on using it. So, remove it given that it's a security risk. Just my $0.02 of course :)

Using VPN Director to route only torrent traffic through VPN

The real issue is that accomplishing this based on a client application is very difficult. Doing this based on IP address is much more straight forward. What I do is to run a separate VM for torrents. That VM has it's own IP on the LAN (i.e. the NIC is 'bridged'). And then for that IP...

RTRMON RTRMON v2.1.4 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor your Router's Health (New: AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest)

Just look at the kind of people he continues to engage with ... and then keeps coming back for more  😂

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.8 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

@Viktor Jaep well, I tested it, exiting vpnmon and then re-launching directly from terminal using vpnmon-r3 -screen and it came right up. Found that strange, so I exited and re-launched via amtm and this time no delay either. 🫤

    What is wrong with DDNS..

Honestly, I'm lost as to what you're trying to accomplish, which is why I typed out detailed instructions so you can make it clear. It sounds like from _inside_ your network you are trying to use the DDNS name to connect to the _external_ IP of your router to VPN _back_ into your original...

    What is wrong with DDNS..

Thank you for catching my error, I got that exactly backwards :) I've corrected the original post.

    What is wrong with DDNS..

My point was mostly that your title isn't accurate and you'll likely get better results is you change it and provide all those additional details in your original post. My suggestion is as follows. 1. a small diagram would help (if possible) 2. Update the original post with a clear list of...

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.8 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

Thanks Viktor, I'll test launching from terminal when I get back home and report back. Again, it's not critical in any way, just a small delay. Mostly I posted up to let others know that if this happens to not worry, just wait a couple of minutes. ;)

    What is wrong with DDNS..

OK, if it returns the correct IP, then your issue is not DDNS. Your issue is once the VPN client tries to connect (for which it uses the IP returned by the DNS server). Name resolution is working.

    What is wrong with DDNS..

While the problem occurs, have you tried using nslookup to see what IP is being returned for the name you're using with asuscomm.com? For me the first step is to see if name resolution returns the expected result (i.e. the IP you're actually using on the WAN).

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.8 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

Again, what it takes is waiting for 2 full cycles and then everything works as normal, as I indicated in my posts :)

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.8 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

Just for completeness, this is what it looks like even when using the reset option (R):

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.8 -Nov 28, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

Just FYI, after upgrading to v1.3.6 the display was 'goofy' until I let it refresh for 1 cycle. No info about my domains and neither (S)how nor (H)ide did anything and it only displayed the top 2 lines (i.e. the 'VPNMON-R3 - v 1.3.6 ...' line) I rebooted the router and the behaviour was the...

    AdGuardHome AdGuard Home Intermittent DNS

I've run AdguardHome both on the routers and on separate systems (i.e. on a rasp pi and one in a VM). I've not seen what you describe, though while on the router every now and then it would seem to 'hiccup' slightly which is why I moved it off it. If the upstream DNS is slow, I've seen some...

^ this. I've run tailscale in a double NAT environment, no issues.

Will Add-on's be affected by Google's switch from Chrome Manifest v2 to Manifest v3?

No skin (not sure how that would even work), just adding it for reference.
