    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

    Anyway, I feel bad begging @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow to generously write scripts in order to enable two ipv6 dns servers to be sent from the router to all devices so it would be great to have that functionality built in.

    Merlin wrt Asus AX88U two pinholes unbound ipv6

    Just an update for those running 386.7, while it looks like some ipv6 fixes and functionality were added - it breaks the custom jffs script in this thread and adding a single ipv6 DNS server to the lan settings does not seem to work. I am going to be reformatting my pi's for other reasons and...

    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

    I noticed a couple of ipv6 changes. At this point, what's the best way of pointing all ipv4 and ipv6 dns traffic to two piholes on the network?

    Merlin wrt Asus AX88U two pinholes unbound ipv6

    Wow I've been living with bad DNS for like two years until I set this up. I am noticing that local clients are listing the router ipv6 IP but the pihole's ipv4 IPs are listed. Also if i turn of "Enable Router Advertisement" I am resolving sites much faster since it looks like no ipv6 servers...

    Merlin wrt Asus AX88U two pinholes unbound ipv6

    ah interesting, so at the end my dnsmasq.postconf should look like the following? #!/bin/sh CONFIG=$1 source /usr/sbin/helper.sh pc_replace "dhcp-option=lan,option6:23,[::]" "dhcp-option=lan,option6:23,[2603:> sed -i 's/^\(.*ra-stateless.*\),[0-9]\+$/\1,infinite/' $CONFIG...

    Merlin wrt Asus AX88U two pinholes unbound ipv6

    In this thread I am attempting to list my various settings with the hopes of either confirming this is the right set up, or discovering where I might have messed something up. The goal here is to have a primary and backup Pihole, running unbound that will filter all dns traffic via IPv4 and...

    Merlin, dnsmasq, Pi-hole Accurate Device Names How-To?

    Yeah at this point I have a setup where ipv4 and ipv6 works, but most of my clients are showing up in Pihole as ipv6 addresses so I can't really see the client names.

    Pi-Hole and running Unbound

    I am running it and it works great except that for some reason my devices are mostly using ipv6 to hit the pi hole so the client list is messy
