    Currently, the PI is connected to my Office Node, which is the most critical location to monitor my "Work Connection". So, in this setup, the Node lost connection to the Router.

    From which stock Firmware version have you moved to Merlin? I use an icinga2 instance on a RasperryPi connected to the Router. I have now upgraded my nodes to 9.0.0.4.386.41994, if this won't help, switching to stock FW on the Router is my next step.

    Yes, I did a complete rollback to 384.19 and still use this version on all nodes and the master.

    I have now done a downgrade to 384.19 on all nodes (including reset afterward) and will test my setup again with this version.

    I have done a reset of all nodes. Issue occured again this morning. I have configured a preferred connection point for the nodes. Might this be a possible cause?

    No, I haven't done that. It was working pretty well before I upgraded to 386.1.
