WPA2 Shared Secret Rotation: How to avoid downtime?

Again, let's just assume we've already decided on that. The point of this topic is to discuss how we would go about rotating the shared secret. Do you have any helpful thoughts on that?

WPA2 Shared Secret Rotation: How to avoid downtime?

In reading this it goes against most of the conventional wisdom of secret management. Regardless, let's just assume the goal is to rotate the shared secret (the point of the topic). Any suggestions?

WPA2 Shared Secret Rotation: How to avoid downtime?

Let's assume you like to rotate your WPA2 shared secret (SSID passphrase) once a year. How do you do it without downtime and with minimal fuss? Is it possible to do it without changing SSID? Here's how I do it: Start with existing SSID `wireless-net` Add new virtual SSID `wireless-net-A`...

    Traffic Analyzer accuracy

@drinkingbird would false attribution stats (e.g. wrong client IP / Mac) in traffic analyzer statistics count as a bug? this one caused some trash when I thought my network was hacked.

Wifi AP Ping Latency Regression with upgrade to RT-AC5300

i have an eap225. The issue is that eap225 signal and antenna gain are actually quite poor compared to consumer router. For the application the consumer router provides better RSSI If i can help identify the ping latency regression config, I will have an optimal installation.

Wifi AP Ping Latency Regression with upgrade to RT-AC5300

I recently "upgraded" to Asus RT-AC5300 – a top-tier AP with tri-band, band steering and lots of resources. Working well, but one setback: my pings have regressed: To ⬇️ 3.0ms AVG from 1.8ms AVG prior to the test How I tested Router was the same in all tests ( UBNT Edge Router X) ping...
