    GT-BE98 Pro or wait...

Please wait. These Wave 1 Wifi7 of beta products are really worthless. All forums of all manufacturers are flooded with complaints about Wifi7 compatibility and MLO not working. Within 6 months their successors will be announced or you will get later hardware revisions with bugs fixed. Even...

Asus GT-AXE11000 and RT-AX86U any Firmware update?

My post was an exaggerated joke. After feeling burned out by their costly Top-Tier routers being neglected in less than 6 months, I seriously lost all interest in them. My biggest issue is how spectacularly their Dual-WAN fails at everything. The Fallback and Failover mechanism just doesn't...

Asus GT-AXE11000 and RT-AX86U any Firmware update?

Asus releases a million different types of routers and their super huge firmware team consisting of 1 person is unable to keep up with all these models. As a result, poor firmware support. I retired all my Asus Routers and went with Ubiquiti who still provide steady firmware updates for 6-7 yr...

Security update support list for the US market

This is kinda lame. Why? Asus takes 6-18 months to announce a product and for that product to actually be available for customers to purchase from retail channels like amazon. In the end, customers barely get 2-3 years of support. Take example of Asus BT10. It was announced on 29th Jan 2024...

Concentrate on Driving Samir ! GT-AX6000’s are damn fine tbh. Even I am selling mine as I have switched to Ubiquiti.

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 as main router

True. But I liked the bluetooth initial setup where there is no need to adjust IP/Subnets before setup.

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 as main router

The Web GUI does not have Access Point mode for some reason. Guess it's Very new or WIP ? However, you can change to AP mode and use it as a glorified switch from Expert Wifi iOS or Android App. Once you change this from app, notice that no option is selected when you visit the same page from...

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 as main router

@tiomiguel I got this EBG15 router and I am quite happy with it as it cost me only $80. But I did exactly opposite as you. I am using it in AP (Access Point) mode and it is used exclusively for WOL purpose. For 2 days I tried, it did work great as a gigabit router. But my PLAN is 1.1Gbps and it...

    GT-AX6000 Discontinued?

My Asus Expert-NonWifi EBG15 came in post today. My GT-AX6000 already has a potential buyer. Too little too late for Asus to release updated firmware after almost 1 year. I have switched to Ubiquiti and Dual Wan failover and fallback is already working perfectly there.

    GT-AX6000 Discontinued?

GT-AX6000 is the last Asus Router I have. I have already switched to Ubiquiti Gear. Just waiting for delivery of UXG-Max router and will be phasing out Asus routers. Will use a small Expert Wifi EBG15 for WOL purposes henceforth.

    GT-AX6000 Discontinued?

Almost a year and no firmware updates... Even the discontinued RT-AC68u is getting firmware updates. WTF is going on at Asus? It seems like this model has been abandoned.
