Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

I upgraded my GT-AX6000 to 3004.388.6_2 about two weeks ago and everything has been great with the exception of what I found today. It appears that under Traffic Analyzer -> Statistic tab it is logging nearly all bandwidth as upload when the majority of my traffic is download. I attached some...

Thanks. That definitely sounds like my issue!

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

I do occasionally stream to the TVs. I switched the TVs over to WiFi and unplugged their ethernet cables. That seems to have resolved the issue as well. I'll settle with them hooked to WiFi vs ethernet if it means they play nice I guess.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

I set a static IP in the router and disabled DHCP in each TV. The logs went away but the lag remained. I unplugged the TVs again and the lag went away. Seems the TVs are doing something really messed up to the network.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

Thanks, I'll give that a try. This really seems to be the root of the issue. Lag over ethernet is about 95% gone. Actually playable now. Just weird that a DHCP request would cause lag spikes on ethernet devices but not over WiFi.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

I unplugged the ethernet from the Sony TV and then shortly after, another Sony TV I have started doing the same thing. Unplugged that one as well and so far it does appear the lag has greatly improved. Testing some more

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

No. I don't normally use WiFi. I disconnected the ethernet and enabled the WiFi only for testing purposes (and currently for playing Diablo IV) :)

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

Unfortunately not. Though, I could always test directly to the modem.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

I do have several switches in the network. These two computers are connected directly to the ports in the main router though.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

Yes, both the 2.5 and one of the 1gig ports. Another detail that is interesting is when the lag happens, it happens on both PC's at the same time. The lag is in sync.

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

The router was reset to factory defaults both before and after I flashed the 388.2 firmware when it released. There are two completely different PC's experiencing the same issue. Both are using the onboard ethernet adapter. My primary PC is using a MSI MPG X570S Carbon Max WiFi motherboard...

Solved Serious Diablo IV Lag when using ethernet connection. HELP!

I am running a GT-AX6000 on Merlin 388.2. When the computer is directly connected to the router with an ethernet cable I get horrendous lag spikes every 20-30 seconds or so. It will take my frame rate from 180fps down to 20-30fps for a couple of seconds and then it goes away only to do it...

    Merlin 388.1 GT-AX6000 NTP time won't synchronize?

I enabled the WAN DNS to "Get the DNS IP from your ISP automatically" and put "time.google.com" as the secondary NTP server. Missing the WAN DNS setting may have been the issue. Seems to be working fine now. I greatly appreciate the help! If you have a bitcoin address, I'd love to buy you a...

    Merlin 388.1 GT-AX6000 NTP time won't synchronize?

I guess I should add that both of the PiHole instances are running Unbound as well.

    Merlin 388.1 GT-AX6000 NTP time won't synchronize?

Thank you. DNS is exactly what it was. Time corrected as soon as I entered that IP. I currently have two PiHole's setup for DNS, one of them for redundancy. Am I missing anything with the settings? Currently set the way they were on the last firmware. No other devices on the network appear...

    Merlin 388.1 GT-AX6000 NTP time won't synchronize?

I actually tried entering a 2nd NTP server before I did the factory reset. The problem remains no matter which NTP server I enter. I attached the log from the time that it switched the date.

    Merlin 388.1 GT-AX6000 NTP time won't synchronize?

I completed the update today from 386.7_2 to 388.1 and had a issue that once I entered my Mullvad OpenVPN settings the VPN server refused to connect. Looking into it, for some reason my system time got set for Sat, May 5th 2018. I tried everything I could think of to fix the NTP settings and...

    Release ASUS Rapture GT-AC5300 - New Firmware Release Version 3.0.0.4.386.48377 - March 30th, 2022

This update broke the ability for me to add new VPN Fusion OpenVPN profiles. I upgraded to the latest firmware from the previous version 3.0.0.4.386.46092 and then did a factory reset. I manually reconfigured my router settings and everything was working great up to the point of setting up my...
