Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 6 models

Ever since dirty flashing from Alpha to Beta, I no longer get the progress bar when flashing the firmware. It just shows "Please wait, applying settings". When I flash the mesh router I get the progress prompt, but not the main one?

For some reason i'm trying to flash the latest test build onto my parents GT-AX11000 and it says the flash is successful, but when i go back into the admin page it's still showing the old firmware?

I’m glad someone else is having this issue. My LG WashTower connected after 10x tries but disconnects very often. Very frustrating!

enabling ethernet backhaul mode destroying internet speed/latency? (GT-AXE16000)

I reported it to ASUS and provided a 24 hour log I ran. My fix for this was loading Merlin’s firmware and doing factory reset. Since then no issues

    [Alpha]386.8 Build

Same setup, everything's been smooth so far. There were a couple of devices that couldn't connect to wifi for some reason, but after a reset no complaints.

Another problem/bug to report, after a long period of time (im guessing 8+ hours) my second AXE16000 (node) will show as "disconnected" in the ASUS app, and if I try to access the "AiMesh" tab via router.asus.com the webpage just hangs and is unresponsive. Manually resetting the router(s) fixes...

enabling ethernet backhaul mode destroying internet speed/latency? (GT-AXE16000)

So the weird thing is even tho "enable wired backhaul" isn't enabled it still is operating in wired backhaul mode, therefore it must be a bug. Good news is, I just stood in the corner of my backyard (6000 SQ lot) and was still getting 400+ mbps DL and 300+ UL. This thing is a BEAST

That's exactly what i'm doing, but if anyone else is experiencing the same problem know that there's a work around. Other than that this router has AMAZING reach and speed.

enabling ethernet backhaul mode destroying internet speed/latency? (GT-AXE16000)

Hey Folks Just received my two GT-AXE16000's and updated both to the latest firmware. Currently running them in a AI Mesh setup via Ethernet (cat 6) via 2.5 wan. The router detected second router/node and displays as it's connected via ethernet. However, if i go into "system settings" and...

    GT-AXE16000 Owner's Thread

Having same exact issue! Bought two AXE16000’s connected via wired. Once I enable “enable wired backhaul” internet speeds and latency goes to crap and coverage becomes super spotty! But once I disable it, it’s still connected via wired and everything returns to normal. just came from 3 AMPLIFI...
