    It was a factory reset regardless.

    That did it. Was able to roll back to the earlier stock fw and then back up. Only issue I ran into was that the fw recovery tool would not recognize the router while it was plugged into the 10gb port and had to temporarily switch to one of the 1gb ports.

    Has anyone been able to update their RT-BE96U from stock 3.0.0.6.102_37024 to any other firmware? I've tried Merlin 3006.102.1 and 3006.102.2-beta1 with both failing to update. I've also tried flashing older stock fw with the same results (I've seen the fw notes about downgrading this build)...
