16 to 24 port L2 Managed Switch Recommendation

NW Cherokee

New Around Here
First post here...

What are a few good 16-24 port gigabit L2 managed switches that are quiet/efficient to look for in the used market? I am redoing my home network to a new server closet with a rack and now need more capacity for making everything a homerun. I would really like to get a rack mountable used upper-grade switch but I don't want to get something that has noisy fans or draws way more power than I actually need. Using PFSENSE for router and No POE required and mainly just using VLANS and a NAS on network so needs are super simple. The OCD in me still wants it to look good though :)

I have a Cisco SG350-28P. Bought it 2nd hand and extremely happy with it.

I just picked-up (for next to nothing from a friend) a slightly older, non-POE version of what you have. Seems to look and work like new really. I got a Cisco SG300-28. I don't believe there is anything the SG350 does over the SG300 that I personally need and the non-POE is fanless. Sure, it is EOL now, but my home network needs are small and outdated also!

Make sure plenty of free air space around it. Don't put it in a cabinet or closet without ventilation. Likely designed to sit in a A/C cooled rack room with plenty of air movement.

At some point - look to replace it...

I know, and i will at the point in time that i upgrade my entire LAN to 10Gbps and that will be when the fiber in our street which they just put in will become active. I guess in a year or so...
