2 Devices - 2 networks - connection between them

I have a FTTB internet connection from provider A. It's connected to an ASUS RT-AC66U via ethernet (WAN) and through a PPPoE connection. However, my IPTV is coming from provider B. It's a DOCSIS3 network, so they gave me a HGW (residential/home gateway - modem+router combo), and the STBs (set top box) are connected to that via ethernet. Since both devices run their own DHCP servers, the ASUS right now is using the 192.168.1.X range, the HGW is using 192.168.0.X. You can control the STBs with your phone/tablet on your local network (it uses the local IP), and I want to use this feature. So my question is: how can I make a connection between the two networks? Obviously, simply plugging two LANs together wont work.

You could reconfigure the Asus to run in Access Point mode. Cabled to the ISP box. That would disable most of the features on the Asus, including DHCP. Use your ISP box as your DHCP Server for your home. All will be in the same subnet.

Yeah, but internet access is provided by the ASUS, so I need both devices.

I think it would be possible what I'm trying to achieve by creating like a virtual interface on the ASUS so it would act like a computer, but with the routing table somehow make the router to forward the 0.X data to the other router. I just don't know how to do it.
