New Around Here
Hiya Buck,

I did just what you are asking a couple of months ago. Although, with a rebate I purchased my N10P for $4.99!
When setting it up I got to the point of selecting the MODE type and I selected Repeater mode. After that the router found my main router (RT-N66U) and asked if I wanted to connect to it wirelessly, it then asked for the passphrase, and the rest was automatic. After some testing I then placed the N10P high on a shelf halfway between my old router and the dead zone. Works like a charm.
Good luck.:)

Thanks Bob. Any chance you tried to connect them over ethernet, or know whether that's an option in the settings?

If you use them as repeaters you cut your bandwidth in half. Connect LAN to LAN for same subnet or LAN to WAN for a separate network. Right now I'm LAN to LAN via power line and it works great.
