I did the the button press for the over clock and under tools it still shows its running at 800MHz. Will this change if it worked?

No. You will need to check the bogomips value to determine if it's really overclocked.

Yes, since regular Bogomips are 1599.
 
Did OC change the Temp or Stability?

Has anyone measured the effect of overclocking on the router temperature or stability?

How did the router performance change with a 20% increase in clock speed?
 
I can't for the life of me find the script i used to check this again...

EDIT, Found it admin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# cat /proc/cpuinfo
