Hello everyone,

This question is for Merlin or anyone who can answer it. I was looking through the mentioned directory on my router (AC66U) /jffs/configs/ and also in /jffs/scripts/ for the config override and postconf scripts. Both folders are currently empty. Is there something special I need to do to populate these folders with the scripts mentioned in the readme?

Please let me know and I thank you in advance for your time.

J

There is no 376.44-beta 4

What, you compiled your own version?

(It's not on Merlin's downloads).

Yes, its still being tested and is only available via building from the git repo

Hi J,

You need to RTFM from here - 'User Scripts' are your friends!

By the way: You should be carfule with latest Git version as this a pure development version - not really testest!

With kind regards
Joe

Joe,

I can't read. I have one of those computers which translates the words on screen into sound. My apologies. Your link did help me find the solution to something else I was looking for.

Warm regards,

J

if jffs dissappears in an update, usually enabling (without format) and rebooting brings them back for me

Have you overclocked your AC66U? It's 600 mhz by default. I thought that overclocking was blocked after some update from asus? Do I miss something?

You have to telnet or ssh into the router. Login as admin and enter this string

nvram set clkfreq=662,331,165 && nvram commit && reboot

This will reboot and set the router to 662

Thanks to Shonk for this solution

Thank you, I will try. Earlier I've read something about triple reboot issue which causes the router to not apply new clock frequency...
