378.55 Missing 2.4Ghz client list, also viewlist.all doesn't work

Knetter

New Around Here
Hi, just started using this for the purpose of the Traffic monitoring on IP's and I can't see 2.4ghz clients, only Wired and 5Ghz ones show up in the webui and the export function.

Also there is a problem viewlist.all doesn't work, nor the search function. Any help here? I think it is a simple UI bug.

thank you

Open your browser console and look for any Javascript error. I suspect you have a client on the 2.4 GHz band which has an invalid name assigned to it.

I have both my 5 and 2.4 SSID's the same, is that a problem?

I have the same issue on my iMac and my Win10 PC, in all browsers, Chrome, FF, Edge, Safari. I get the same deal. Thoughts?

So I just decided to see if the SSID's being the same name is causing an issue, but when I go to Advanced Settings.Wireless and click the 2.4 or the 5ghz screen, the only band that shows up in both is 5Ghz.
I did change one of the SSID's to another name, but that didn't fix anything. Am I understanding you correctly when you say it has an invalid name assigned to it?

So I just renamed my 2.4 to Tom and 5 to Jerry.
I am logged into Tom and I have 9 clients that show up under wired, and nothing on 5 (because I renamed it and nothing is logged in of course), and as you can see no table for 2.4Ghz.

Should I try and reset the router to factory and reinstall your 378.55?

Ok, so I reset to factory defaults. And reinstalled your firmware, and set my SSID's back to the same and now I have all 3 tables Wired, 2 and 5 populating.

Now the only odd thing is I have several IPs showing as Static vs DHCP. Of the 50 IPs I have on my network, I only have 1 IP static, and that is a Network laser printer, everything else should be dynamic. Thoughts?

They show as static because those devices are still using their existing leases - they didn't request new leases yet, so the router assumes they are static. Once they start requesting leases, this will update.

ok that makes sense, thanks!
