380.63_2 Broke 5GHz Band on AC87Us

Hi All,

Long time merlin firmware user (thanks RMerlin) here. Never had an issue aside from a few weeks ago when I upgraded from the previous release to 380.63_2.

Since then, my 5GHz bands on two (2) different AC87U devices drop after some time after fresh boot. One (1) device is the core router off my fibre modem while the other is simply an AP chained via ethernet cable.

I have been flashing from version to version for months without resetting the routers to defaults to avoid having to rebuild them from scratch.

I have since upgraded to each of the new post-63_2 alphas and the new beta from 12/9 but the issue persists on both routers.

Before I do rebuild them both from scratch, are there any logs or errors I can look for to see if I can fix something without a full rebuild of the routers' settings?

No one else has seen this issue? 5GHz works fine upon reboot but then seems to drop after half a day or so.

I am going to implement a daily reboot as a work-around but is there anything I can look or in logs or otherwise to track down the source of the problem?
