3G/4G/LTE Stick Watchdog

New Around Here
Sorry if this has been asked before but I have a RT-AC66U with a LTE stick as my primary internet access (yes I live in a rural area :()

Every once in a while the connection drops and doesn't re-establish until I reboot the router.

I have read that other routers have a watchdog feature that pings a known site (e.g. google) and once that fails reboots the 3G/4G/LTE stick to reconnect.

I don't think the stock ASUS firmware has this feature - is it available through Merlin?

Thanks in advance - great forum!

Cheers

well I have the 3.0.0.4.374.40_alpha4 because in the last version my Modem doesn't work at all. But for this version I can enable watchdog:

So I guess it should work.
