3x3 Intel N chip vs Intel 2x2 AC 7260 chip, on n router only.

I have a Intel 6300 AGN 3x3 wifi adapter I travel with in case my Intel 7260 AC dual band fails. OCD, yes. But, since 99% of all places I stay are N routers, will I benefit to put the 6300 ultimate AGN 3x3 chip back in? Since no AC , and it will be 3x3 antenna vice 2x2? Silly i know, but have to ask..

Have you been happy with how the 7260 performs? If so, keep it.

3x3 vs. 2x2 is unlikely to make a difference if you are using hotel WiFi, because max bandwidth per user is ratched down pretty low.

I see they use this TeleAdapt Desktop 8050 in conjunction with a UBEE DDM 3521. Very slow here.
