ok.. I have a question. My NAS i use mostly as a DL station and to store mty media files for XBMC. using SABnzbd takes FOREVER... i was wondering if the faster processor of the 412+ would make it a better fit than the 212+. I am currently running a 410 and love it except for how long it takes to process files.

I don't use sabnzbd, but I'm a 212+ owner. What does sabnzbd undertake for "processing?" Transcoding or assembling of some kind? Is it pegging the CPU usage?

I can d/l in DLstation package and stream while transcoding an mkv, for example, in new DSM 4.3, directly to AppleTV3 in real time at a bitrate comparable to Netflix HD (if the source is a good rip). Running my NAS hard wired into Asus RT-N66 with a very strong 802.11n 5ghz media bridge connection wired to ATV3. I could probably backup a machine or two via wifi to NAS at the same time (as streaming & transcoding w/ the new DSvideostation) without degradation or speed loss.

That said, I would also like to upgrade to a 4bay model w/ dual LAN & trunk it to a managed switch. Not that I'm at all unhappy with anything now, I love it and want to use it even more heavily.
