New user here. Just bought an AC66U to replace a E3200. Router is not broke just moving up (he said, confidently).
We use an Android phone (my Note3); wife's iPhone 4; and 2 Win 7 laptops on the wireless. No USB3 ports so perhaps I'm gaining nothing with an AC router unless I can get an external adapter and antenna that will run off USB1/2?
Issues with E3200 have been signal strength. House is 1500 sq ft so that seemed strange to me hence the change. And we are on 1 acre+ so as of yet neighbors haven't been an issue.
E3200 lives in linen closet top shelf as close to center of the house as no matter and no over-heating issues with it. Never was successful at adding network storage to it though. Hoping that the Asus with a 128 gb stick on it will work better. I would like to use the net storage for horse and carriage photos that my wife copys to update her face page.
