@HawkInOz suggested we pool our efforts to have user contributed snbforums-whitelist/blacklist.txt for AB-Solution:
This would be separate from the standard whitelist.txt / blacklist.txt and would have a toggle to switch them on or off.
That would be doable if interest is high enough. Reply here for your thoughts.
- Post your whitelist/blacklist (and mark it as such) with some context as to why you have the entries in it.
- Then like the ones you would like to be included, the more likes a list gets the more likely it will be included.
I support this and would build a pull into AB-Solution for a combined, shared snbforums-whitelist.txt and snbforums-blacklist.txt file, hosted somewhere, just like the hosts files. The thought occurred to me that it might be of some value going forward to have an "AB-Solution Whitelist" thread created where everyone could post what URLs they have whitelisted, and why, and - if known - which host file created the need for their whitelisting(s). Having that information consolidated in a single thread could make life a lot easier for someone installing AB-Solution for the first time. Building and maintaining a custom whitelist from those posts might be something that someone would want to do as well...
