New Around Here
Hello,

The 2 products on the title seems good, and are about the same price.
QNAP TS-509 Pro / TS559 Pro is also a possibility.

I will use a NAS for HTPC use, and office uses (my office is at home).
Since my library is rapidly expanding, i will use 2 TB drives at first on RAID 1, and soon will expand it, i assume i will eventually need at least 4 bays and the option to expand the array to RAID 5 without rebuilding it.

I noticed that the Synology doesn't have a screen, does it means that i won't be able to see live condition of the HDs?
I like that the Synology is expandable with DX510, i'm not sure if the other options are also capable of this kind of expansions.

Please advise.

Thanks
