Who knows but the experience is frustrating, no exactly "Plug and Play".... Asus said to deactivate Airtime Fairness on 2.4Ghz....

Good advice from ASUS... it's in my AiMesh install notes. Maybe they'll make that the default setting some day.

thats not a good way, instead they should correct their code to have it working as it should!
Or take away not working features at all ...

We get it... you're mad at ASUS.

Airtime Fairness is probably ahead of its time. Someday it may be universally necessary and helpful without upsetting older wireless clients.

What I am saying, remove this "feature" from firmware as it wont work well and put it back in as soon as it is fixed and working for all or at least >99% of users.
Nobody needs features which must be disabled to solve problems.

I would really like these routers, if they only would be free of permanent problems and known bugs fixed within some months or at least a year (instead for me its going even worse than better).

Compatibility issues will always exist when dealing with wifi. Not Asus's fault if some of your clients are not compatible with Airtime Fairness...
