New Around Here
Hi there,

any thoughts as to why my daily / monthly per device traffic logs don't show any data? Table shows "No data in table."

Tools - Other settings has "Enable IPTraffic (per IP monitoring)" as enabled, Monitor all IPs by default as enabled.

My log file showed:
Sep 22 11:56:43 cstats[367]: Problem loading /mnt/htpc/tomato_cstats_d850e6447288.gz. Still trying...

This file didn't exist at all (there is a tomato_rstats file which has 1kb of data, which is being written to every hour). I tried creating the above mentioned file, chmod to 777 but still same error in the log.

-rwxrwxrwx 1 admin root 0 Sep 22 11:35 tomato_cstats_d850e6447288.gz
-rwxrwSrwx 1 admin root 1006 Sep 19 14:56 tomato_rstats_d850e6447288.gz

Any thoughts?

The file must be created using the option to create it, under Tools -> Other Settings. You can't just manually create any empty file, it's a database, so it must be created by the router.

This is something documented in the README BTW.

Thanks so much! My concern with that is that it would wipe my historical data of traffic alone (which it did). I've backed up the original file, and the new file still wasn't created, it's just zeroed out my existing stats file.

I'm an idiot - please disregard. Didn't see two options for resetting data files.. one for overall one for ip specific. sorry to waste your time!

Amazing work with the firmware - have used it from day 0 (even though it doesn't always show ;) )
