AC68 DualWAN, VPN and Web server Issue

micron2100

New Around Here
I am runninag Merlin on an AC68. I have dual WAN connections. My problem is one is slow (6MB) but has a static IP while the other is fast (50 MB) but I cannot get a static IP. I run a web server and router OpenVPN on the static IP.

I would like to use the fast connection going out and the static connection coming in. On my old Xincom it worked fine with the static connection in failover or low percentage loadshare but with the ASUS it does not. WIth the Static on Primary and the fast connection in failover everything works fine.

I love the Merlin firmware, I tried Asus before but until I flashed Merlin, I didn't decide to switch over.

IS there a way to script what I am trying to do? ALso I would like to get email notices when one WAN dropped or other admin problems like on the Xincom but proper VPN and server function is my priority.

Merlin thanks for your firmware work and thanks in advance for anyone that can help me work this out.

Which FW people suggest for Dual WAN use (fail over) to 68U?
Using now 376.47 and last weekend i did have primary connection out like 24 hours and secondary WAN never came alive. Needed to wait until primary connection was Ok again.

Do i need to take 3rd WAN to handle relay which will do power cycle for the router, when i do not have access to home and then just need to pray will it take secondary WAN to be active :)

Doesnt sound promising... Dual WAN was the only reason to get this router :)
Need to test that fork version.

I do not ask much, basic features what router basically do and working fail over with Cable + ADSL lines.
