AC68U not obtaining IPV6 IP

Occasional Visitor
I want to preface this by saying IPV6 did work on older version of Merlin when I first obtained Comcast internet (maybe 6-7 months ago). I kept it off because I didn't want to deal with it at the time.

Today I decided to start playing with it again. I'm using the following settings:

However after countless reboots of both the router and modem it simply won't pull an IP:

I've been looking through the system log and can't find much in reference to any type of issue.

Any ideas? Any commands I can try via SSH?

Thanks!

Also seems that none of my computers are connecting to IPv6 either. I continue to receive this message roughly every 5 seconds:

Code:
Jun 18 16:21:55 dnsmasq-dhcp[471]: no address range available for DHCPv6 request via br0

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 is now available for all supported models.

[*]A few IPv6-related fixes and tweaks: Comcast's hack changed to a new nvram setting (ipv6_ns_drop), and is now disabled by default. Set it to "1" to enable.

What am I missing here? I'm running 378.54_2

Edit: I see your edit now. I've tried with the hack enabled and disabled.

The only other things would be to make sure that you have a high-quality cat5e cable or better, and rebooting both the cable modem and router.

Alternatively, try stateful which might work for you.

The hardware and cables have not changed since the first time it worked. But I did just try some alternate cables with no dice. Also tried stateful which didn't yield results.

Going to try rebooting both devices a few more times and hope it kicks in. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

At this point I have no idea what's going on. Tempted to do a full NVRAM reset. Any thoughts before I jump?

First go into the UI and disable v6 reboot router. Then enable v6 again shut the router and the modem off. Wait about 5 minutes then turn the modem back on and let it fully sync to the network then turn the router back on let it fully boot. You should now have a v6 address if not leave modem alone and reboot the router via the UI and let it boot up if you still can not get v6 then something else is at play. I use Comcast and this method works for me every time. I will say the new Merlin firmware seems to work with v6 much better then some of the older builds so it should work.

I would suspect the modem more than the router. Maybe a reset to defaults on the modem would work. Just be prepared for it to take a while to re-provision itself.

Thanks everyone. It actually fixed itself while I was away this weekend. There could have been an outage. Appreciate all the responses.
