Hi,
Shifted my router/media bridge setup from AC68U (router) / AC66U (m-bridge) to AC87U router / AC68U m-bridge. AC66U (and now AC68U) are connected to NAS.
In first setup large file transfers on 5 Ghz went fine, no issues, drops whatsoever. Now 5Ghz works fine if file size is around 1.5-2 Gb max, above that it drops and stops completely.
In the same setup (AC87/AC68) on the 2.4Ghz band large file transfer of 10 Gb completes correctly, although it takes ages
.
All routers come with latest FW (AC87U version 3.0.0.4.376_2769 from ASUS, referring to file transfer drop fix for EU models), problem stil exists. If I replace the AC87 with the AC66 as router, 5Ghz transfers work fine again.
Tried al kind of settings (similar to previously working setup), in the end I can only conclude it is a 5 Ghz issue with the AC87 FW. Saw issues described here that looked the saem (ao in Mac environments) but not in same setup and no solution.
Anybody experiencing the same issues? Any solutions or tips perhaps?
