I have been using the AC88U as the main router and the 3100 and 1900 as AI nodes. Wired connections work great, no issues. About 3 weeks ago the wireless speeds started slowing down. All the devices that are connected to the main router and nodes are not showing up on the ASUS app on my phone even though they are connected. I have 100mps down and about 15mps up. The download speeds over wireless have been slowing to below 10mps. IT just appears all random. If I rest the modem and router that seems to work for 20-30 minutes then back to the slower speeds. I am using both the 2.4 and 5 ghz frequencies and the Smart Connect rule is turned on. Really bothering me as I have been resetting the router a couple times a day at least. I am hoping it is a setting but it also seems to coincide with the last update...
I am using a few of the ethernet ports out of the nodes and router to run a couple xbox's wired and a few other devices. AS I mentioned, the wired portion has no issues. I wasn't sure if connecting the ethernet ports would make it try and assign ip addresses and mess up the network, they seem to be ok.
