Can I Access Internet through VPN on RT-AC66U - Merlin firmware?

I was able to do so on my old Cisco with DD-wrt, but I can't seem to find this option on the RT-AC66U.

Best regards

Anders

Can you be more specific? There are various ways a VPN tunnel can be used.

Who are you using as your VPN provider?

Many of the larger providers have detailed instructions on their web sites on how to get their VPN running on various router operating systems. Look at their instructions and take what you need from either DD-WRT and/or Tomatoe

PPTP is the easiest to set up but not very secure. It is secure enough to hide your IP from your local ISP.

OpenVPN is the most involved to set up and in addition to hiding your IP securely (maybe ) encrypts your transmissions.

L2TP or something like that - just to make my own IP invisible while downloading.

This firmware only supports OpenVPN client tunnels for that type of use.
