I will apologize in advance if this is the wrong sub for the question...

I have a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint (for my 3d printer). I can access it on my local network fine (which I should be able to, being I'm in the home and wired to it) What I want to do is be able to access it outside my home to monitor my prints. I assume this a a combo of port forwarding and a DDNS? I have an account (free) at No-IP but can't figure out the setup between there and my router.... Can anyone help?

Using a Belkin AC1200 router (which my desktop is hardwired to) and my Raspberry Pi3 is obv wirelessly connected to that router...

One option might be to use the RealVNC connect in current Raspbian Jessie - no ports need to be forwarded, and just install the RealVNC client SW on your PC/laptop... they'll broker the connection there...
